I totally get what the baby bubble feels like—it’s such a special time, and the last thing I want to do is disrupt it! That’s why I offer relaxed, in-home newborn photography in Essex and beyond. I come to you, and we capture all those sweet moments in the comfort of your own home.

There’s no rush here—your shoot will take as long as needed to get those beautiful images. No awkward posing, no stress, and definitely no constant shushing to get baby to sleep. Typically, a newborn photoshoot will take around 1-2 hours, but I’ll stay until we’ve captured all the perfect shots.

When your session is done, you’ll feel just as relaxed as you did when we started, with a collection of beautiful, timeless memories to cherish forever.

Newborn Photoshoot Pricing

Session Fee – Photoshoot at a location of your choice, within 20 miles of Colchester. (More than this will be subject to a travel charge)

Weekends £95 | Weekdays £65

FAQ

Where do your newborn shoots take place?

All of my newborn sessions take place in your home. I want to photograph your new family as you are, where you are most comfortable.

What if my house doesn't look good in photos?

Please don’t worry about your home looking good, you have just had a baby. I will choose 2-3 small areas in your home which are filled with good light, so near a window or door and we will work with those. Amazing light and emotion is much better than a perfect house, trust me.

How old should my baby be for a newborn shoot?

My style of photography is natural, therefore, less pressure to have your shoot as young as possible. I generally schedule in your newborn shoot 7-14 days after your due date. This gives you all time to settle into your new family and feel comfortable with your new addition.

When should I book in our newborn shoot?

Its better to provisionally book in your newborn shoot as soon as you know your due date. We can always change this if baby is early or late or if you want some more time before your shoot.
