It’s Friday!!! It’s my fav day of the week, the a It’s Friday!!! It’s my fav day of the week, the anticipation of the weekend and other people being ‘available’ for fun stuff. I mean I still work on weekends, but it all just feels more relaxed. I’m off to a brand new nursery today and I cannot wait. I love the feedback from parents the first time they see a new style of photos of their little ones ❤️ Have a great weekend whatever you’re up to!!

I love the bluebells, there is something about the I love the bluebells, there is something about them that is so magical. And I think the fact that they are only here for a couple of weeks makes them even more special. I’m trying to organise some family minis for the next month or so but I’m so torn as to where to hold the. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!!
Are you ever a tiny bit underwhelmed when nursery Are you ever a tiny bit underwhelmed when nursery photos come home? Not in a harsh way, just that feeling of… it’s nice, but it doesn’t quite feel like them. I hear this so often from parents. The forced smile, the plain background, the one photo where you think “that’s not really how they are at all”. Because the version of them you know is full of personality and movement and those little expressions you see every day. That’s exactly what I focus on when I photograph in nurseries. I keep things really relaxed, use natural light and give the children space to just be themselves in an environment they already feel comfortable in. So the photos you get back actually feel like your child. If this is something you’d love, I’d be so grateful if you mentioned my name to your nursery or shared this with them. I’m currently looking to work with more lovely settings across Essex.
