I was asked yesterday to write one word that sums I was asked yesterday to write one word that sums up what I struggle with most in my business. Mine was TIME. There were about 12 of us round the table and I just assumed everyone would say the same. But the word that kept coming up was VISIBILITY. Showing up. And I get it. It can feel really exposing putting your face on stories or talking about what you do. It’s much easier to hide behind the work. But this is what I say to my clients all the time… who are you actually showing up for? It’s not for other business owners. It’s not for the algorithm. It’s for the people who are thinking about booking you. The ones who want to know who you are, what you’re like, why you care about what you do and whether they feel comfortable with you. Especially now. With so much AI, so much noise and so many scams flying around, people just want to see a real human. Your face. Your voice. Your personality. That’s where trust starts. And trust is what books the job. So if you’ve been hiding a bit, this is your gentle nudge.

Lots of cuddles, feeding breaks, no pressure at all — and I’ll be quietly capturing both photos and a little bit of video along the way. Think relaxed networking, fresh air, seasonal content, headshots and proper connections. We’ll start with quick intros, then head out for an hour in nature creating content together, modelling for each other and capturing images as we go. After that, we’ll head back to the coffee shop for another hour of chats, cake and a couple more headshots.
